To the dunes we go!

Hi all, Back in June, the Wrights had the pleasure of taking an extended weekend trip. It was much needed. Noah was burnt out from school, Devon and I were itching to get some time away to relax, and Penny well,she never needs a reason to get away, she’s always ready! Devon decided that it would be a good idea to finally travel to Traverse City and stay at Great Wolf Lodge. If you want to hear about how that went, i'll be posting about it soon. From our home near the lakeshore to Great Wolf Lodge, we were looking at a 3-hour car ride. Since we were already heading up north, I suggested that we stop at Sleeping Bear Dunes on our way there. If you’re fortunate enough to live in Michigan, I highly recommend taking a short trip up there to gaze at the beautiful views. We took the kids two years ago, and they were too little to remember. The breakfast club

Hi all, Breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day. It's easy to get busy and want to either go through the drive-thru or grab something that isn't going to hold off your hunger until lunch. I find that my peeps at home can be pretty picky. To not make multiple meals each morning to suit everyone's likes, I decided that I'd provide them with options but in a way that wouldn't take up all morning to cook. This week I hope that I can give you guys different ideas for breakfast so that you can head out the door ready to conquer the world!  Some of this can be made the night before to cut your time even shorter in the morning. Also, feel free to customize this based on your family's preference.  What you will need: Fruit-I chose strawberries, melon, and grapes Protein- again to cut time in half, I chose scrambled eggs.
